Unfiltered organic olive oil in raw food quality from Greece.

Only available for a short time on pre-order - the unfiltered extra virgin organic olive oil from Oel Berlin is extracted from one hundred percent own and hand-harvested Koroneiki olives. The olive groves are located in Meligalas, a small town in Messinia on the Peloponnese peninsula, which is just a stone's throw north of Kalamata. Since the extraction process is exclusively mechanical, the result is a first-class, raw, cold-pressed olive oil.

The harvest always begins in the first weeks of December. For this, the entire team of Oel Berlin travels with friends to Greece and works there together with the rest of the family and harvest workers on the olive groves. After all olives were carefully harvested, they are processed in the press a few hours after they were still hanging on the tree already gently by cold extraction (below 27 degrees) to oil and filled into UV-protected insulated canisters. The preservation of the taste of the olive and the avoidance of the emergence of chemical processes in the olive are paramount.

Friendship of passion

We got to know the guys from Oel Berlin in 2018 at the BioNord trade fair in Hannover. A year later, we met them again at BioSüd in Augsburg and picked up right where we left off - having good conversations and tasting and sharing our own products. We have stayed in touch since then, exchanged a lot and decided to support each other in our work to promote "good" and "beautiful" in this world. Together we want to make a positive contribution to our society and out of this passion came honest friendship. We are therefore incredibly pleased to be able to introduce our customers to this sustainable olive oil from the Berlin boys!
