Date mix organic

Our organic date mix combines up to 12 different date varieties in one pack. These include varieties that are only grown by our farmers in very small quantities and are therefore rarely available individually. Each mix is a little different - which is exactly what makes it so appealing.

The dates in this mix are firmer in consistency than our classic, very juicy varieties. We particularly like this quality for snacking: pleasantly compact, not sticky and with a clear, natural sweetness. At the same time, we know: This firmer texture is a matter of taste.

If you are looking for very juicy, creamy dates, this mix is not the right choice for you. In this case, we recommend varieties such as Sukkari, Medjool or Mazafati.

Due to its structure, the date mix is ideal for processing in the kitchen: for baking, chopping, mixing, for muesli, energy balls or savory dishes. A versatile, inexpensive mix for anyone who regularly works with dates.

We recommend storing the date mix in the fridge to preserve the aroma and taste as much as possible. Please note: the dates will become a little firmer there. Simply leave them at room temperature for a short time before eating or further processing - then they will develop their full flavor.

Unsere Partner-Farm in Saudi-Arabien liegt in der malerischen Region Al Ghat, etwa 200 Kilometer nordwestlich von der pulsierenden Hauptstadt Riyadh. Al Ghat bietet mit heißen Sommern und milden Wintern ideale Bedingungen für den Dattelanbau.

Die Farm ist ein Vorreiter der biologischen Landwirtschaft in Saudi-Arabien und wurde als eine der ersten Farmen im Land mit dem EU-Bio-Zertifikat ausgezeichnet. Unser saudischer Dattel-Bauer legt großen Wert auf den Schutz der Umwelt und die Erhaltung der natürlichen Ressourcen und hat sich mit Aufbau der Farm dazu entschlossen, auf den Einsatz von chemischen Düngemitteln und Pestiziden zu verzichten.

Auf der Farm wird eine große Vielfalt an unterschiedlichen Dattelsorten angebaut. Momentan beziehen wir 9 unserer Dattelsorten von unserer saudischen Partner-Farm.
